Topographica: Who We Are.
Yogan’s drone journey began at the UCLA Design Media Arts Department in 2022, where he introduced and taught two drone photography and photogrammetry classes in 2023 and 2024. The second iteration of this class earned him the 2024 UCLA Unit-18 Professional Development Award.
At UCLA, he joined transdisciplinary teams, leveraging high-precision remote sensing platforms and tools such as LiDAR, to conduct aerial surveys for grant-funded research projects.
For him, aerial data capture is an extension of landscape photography, an artform he’s been practicing and teaching professionnaly for more than 15 years.
